Kandi & crochet

Draw a Kandi cuff and get the stringing order

Best for stripes, hearts, and letter cuffs from scratch. There are no 29-cell Perler red board lines — width is beads per cuff row.

Canvas size

In the Kandi designer, set Width×Height (often default 25×10). Width = beads per row (fit); height = rounds (thickness/vertical detail). Sizing: beads per row. No Perler 29-cell red board lines.

Lock width from a fit test before choosing height. Large mid-project resizes may crop or pad — follow prompts; export PNG/CSV first for important work.

Drawing tools

Same grid tools; pony or Perler colors; optional My colors (My colors). Photos: maker. Also shortcuts, Replace all, brush & mirror.

Row-by-row

Row by row and Materials update as you paint; row 1 is the bottom. Mirror speeds drawing, but stringing still follows the written rows — not the preview’s visual top.

Failure modes: starting stringing at the visual top after mirrored drawing; shopping from memory while Materials is stale. Re-read the full list after recolors or resizes.

Export

Print/PDF, PNG, CSV, Share. Optional Show codes. Maker: Kandi maker. Also PNG and CSV, Print and PDF.
