Privacy policy and terms
Short version: your images never leave your device, every tool is free, and the patterns you make are yours.
Your images
All Pixtern tools run in your web browser. Images you choose, drop or paste are read and processed on your own device. They are not uploaded to our servers or any third party, and they are not stored after you close the page.
Accounts
An account is optional. If you sign in with Google, GitHub or a code sent to your email, we store your email address, the name and profile picture the provider shares, and the color libraries you save in the designers. We use a cookie to keep you signed in; it is not used for advertising or tracking. Sign-in emails are sent through Resend. To delete your account and its data, email us from the address you signed in with.
Community gallery
When you publish a pattern, its grid, colors, title, description and a small preview image are stored on our servers and shown publicly with your display name. Other visitors can like it and open it in a designer to make their own version for non-commercial use. Your original photo is never uploaded. You can delete your patterns at any time from My patterns. Anyone can report a pattern; patterns reported by several people are hidden until we review them, and we remove anything that is illegal, hateful, sexual or copies someone else's work.
Analytics
We may use privacy-friendly, cookie-free analytics to count page visits. We do not sell personal data.
Patterns you make
Patterns you create from your own images are yours to use, print, share and sell finished pieces from. Only upload images you own or have permission to use; characters and logos may be protected by copyright or trademark.
Trademarks
Perler, Hama, Artkal, MARD, Nabbi, DMC, LEGO and Minecraft are trademarks of their owners. Pixtern is not affiliated with or endorsed by them; brand names are used only to describe color compatibility. Not an official Minecraft product; not approved by or associated with Mojang or Microsoft.
