Perler beads

Read bead codes and counts — export a shopping list

Materials is the shared ledger for shopping and placing beads: codes match boxes, counts match stock, letters match Show codes in cells. After edits, trust the latest list.

Where it lives and when it updates

Both the Perler maker and designer show Materials. Counts refresh when you change brand, Max colors / cleanup / dither / remove background, paint, fill, erase, Replace all, or clear the canvas.

Shop from the list after you finalize the chart — an older CSV may not match.

Column meanings

  • # — row index;
  • Color — swatch (approximate on screen);
  • Code — brand code for your boxes;
  • Name — color name when available;
  • Count — beads of that color in the pattern.

Totals help estimate ironing time. Many 1–2 counts often mean speckles — see cleanup & dither.

Relation to brand palette

Codes and names follow the active brand. Switching Perler ↔ Hama / Artkal / MARD / Nabbi remaps shades and can change counts. Re-read the list — brand palettes. Values are approximate; check close shades in real life.

CSV and print

CSV downloads a shopping table. Print/PDF usually includes materials with board pages. PNG is the chart image, not a sortable table. See PNG and CSV and Print and PDF.

With Show codes

Display → Show codes puts matching letters/codes in cells for hand building. See Show codes and board width and pagination.
