Brand and canvas size
Open the Perler bead designer. Pick a brand in Colors: Perler, Hama, Artkal, MARD or Nabbi. Switching rematches every bead to the closest color of the new brand.
Under Canvas size, set Width and Height in beads. One large square pegboard is 29 × 29; you can span multiple boards (about five boards across at most). Red lines mark board edges.
Clear canvas empties the board after a confirm dialog («Clear the whole canvas?»). The design stays in this browser tab — export or print before you close it.
Drawing tools
Pick a current color, then click or drag on the grid:
- Paint (P) — place beads
- Fill (G) — flood-fill a connected area
- Erase (E) — remove beads
- Pick (I) — sample a color from the grid
- Replace all (R) — replace every bead of one color with the current color
- View — pan/view without painting
- Undo / Redo — Ctrl+Z / Ctrl+Y
Tip: outline first in a dark color, then fill. Thin parts need at least one bead side by side so they survive ironing.
Brush and mirror
- Brush size — how many cells the pen covers; [ / ] shrinks or grows it
- Mirror drawing (M) — mirror left and right while you draw
Display menu
Open Display:
- Show codes — Letters or codes inside each cell
- Grid — Lines between cells
Turn on Show codes before printing if you want a letter or code in every cell that matches the materials list.
Zoom and fullscreen
- Zoom in / Zoom out — mouse wheel on desktop; pinch on touch. Shift + wheel pans
- Fit to screen (0) — fit the board to the window
- Full screen (F) — toggle full screen (Exit full screen to leave)
Color panels
- Colors in use — colors already on the board
- All colors ({n}) — full brand palette (count appears in the label)
- My colors — your saved favorites; add by hex. Optional sign-in syncs across devices
The materials list updates bead counts as you draw.
