Where Share appears
In grid tools that support publishing (Perler maker/designer, pixel converter/maker, kandi, Minecraft pixel art, tapestry crochet, …) the action row has Share next to PDF/PNG/CSV. It opens a dialog titled “Publish to the community gallery” and does not submit immediately — you can review the chart first.
If Share is missing on a page, it is usually one of the exceptions listed under “Tools without Share”.
Sign-in requirements
If you are signed out, Share asks you to sign in (Google, GitHub, or email code). Browsing and using tools stay free. Also see What sign-in unlocks: likes, My patterns, and color sync.
Form field reference
- Title — title shown in community lists and on the work page
- Category — category used when browsing
- Description (optional) — optional notes (palette tips, inspiration)
- Your display name — display name on the work page
Submitting confirms the work is yours and may be reused non-commercially for free (exact wording is in the UI). Prefer a clear title; a short description that names brand or special palette helps others.
After publishing
You get a link to the community work page. Others can open it in a designer, like it, or report it. Find your posts under the account menu → My patterns, or the community area on the gallery hub. Hidden / reported items are marked in the mine list.
Tools without Share
The kinusaiga designer and pattern maker export Print/PNG/SVG and do not use this community Share flow. Circle/sphere/banner tools and the cross-stitch calculator also have no Share button.
Recommended practice
- Finish recolors and cleanup in the designer before publishing.
- Only publish work you have the right to share.
- On failure, check network and session; chart data is taken from the open grid — no separate file upload.
- Gallery browsing: Find a pattern in the gallery: print, download, or edit.
