Board size
On the kinusaiga designer, use Board size — same sizes as the maker (e.g. 5 × 5 in (13 cm), 5 × 7 in (13 × 18 cm), 8 × 8 in (20 cm), 8 × 10 in (20 × 25 cm)), portrait or landscape. Minimum piece size follows the board.
New clears the board after “Start a new design? The current one will be replaced.”. Designs auto-save in this browser; export for a portable copy.
Shapes and pen
Add a shape / More shapes offer about 20 shapes (Circle, Star, Heart, Crescent moon, Cloud, Leaf, Wave, Mountains, …). Drag, resize, rotate; toolbar has Duplicate, Flip horizontally / Flip vertically, Rotate 90°, and layer controls (To front … To back).
Pen: draw your own shape (Pen (P), P): Click to place corners. Click the first corner or press Enter to finish, Esc to cancel.. Use Select (V) (V) to move selection.
Colors and My colors
Fabrics colors the selected shape; click empty board for Background. Shortcut R runs replace-all (“Replace all: pick a color on the right, then click a shape or the background; every piece of that color takes the new color.”).
My colors stores favorites (On this device until you sign in to sync). Optional Fabric numbers for numbered maps.
Live cut lines (~4 mm merge)
Toggle Show cut lines. The UI note: “Dark lines show the real cut lines. Parts thinner than about 4 mm (1/6") are merged into a neighbour so they can still be tucked.” — parts thinner than about 4 mm merge into a neighbour so fabric can still be tucked.
Print / PNG / SVG
- PDF — real-size cut map; print at 100% / Actual size with the 1-inch check.
- PNG / SVG — two-page file (cut + fabric map/list).
No community Share button on this designer.
Edit a free pattern
From free kinusaiga patterns, press Edit — each piece becomes an editable shape. The designer also has Start from a free pattern.

Practice: lock board size before placing many shapes so thin pieces are not merged later. Switch to the cut map before export. Auto-save is browser-local — export PNG / SVG for portability. This designer has no community Share button.
